Purpose of the role:
Compliance with the relevant EU and national control and security regulations, in particular the EU Dual-Use Regulation (EU) 2021/821, the Foreign Trade Act (AWG/AWV), Regulation (EU) 2019/1148 on precursors for explosives, and Regulations (EC) No 273/2004 and 111/2005 on drug precursors
Your tasks:
- Independent implementation of measures to comply with and ensure adherence to national and international regulations in foreign trade and export control
- Classification of products in accordance with the relevant legal requirements
- Carrying out and documenting checks against dual-use, catch-all, end-use, country and sanctions lists, as well as checks for licence requirements
- Application for and monitoring of export licences and communication with the competent authorities
- Establishment, maintenance and further development of the Internal Compliance Programme (ICP)
- Maintaining and supporting the software solution used at TER Chemicals in cooperation with the external service provider
- Advising and training internal specialist departments and international subsidiaries on issues relating to foreign trade and export control legislation
- Preparing for and supporting internal and external audits conducted by authorities and certification bodies
Your profile:
- You have successfully completed vocational training or a degree in logistics or foreign trade
- Several years of professional experience in export control will enable you to integrate confidently into our processes
- You are confident in using MS Office and have good SAP knowledge
- Your good command of English will help you to communicate effectively in international context
